The Ocean County Special Needs Registry is a voluntary service open to all citizens with disabilities who reside, attend school or are employed in Ocean County. The 2020 MADD Awards ceremony was held this week and we are so proud of these officers for being recognized for their outstanding efforts to keep impaired drivers off our roads. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported our TRPD team for the Polar Bear Plunge this weekend! Together they raised almost $15,000 for the amazing athletes of Special Olympics in New Jersey. Great job everyone!

Officer Tamaro was very excited to meet journalist and author, the co-founder and CEO of Rappler, and the first Filipino recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, Maria Angelita Ressa. They are both proud TR North graduates, Ms. Ressa in 1982, and HS North SRO Tamaro in 1997.
Sending a huge thank you to the Toms River High School South Interact Club! They made our officers a ton of sweet cards and delivered them with delicious Philly Pretzels to send some love to first responders on Valentine's Day!
