Officer Dominick Pollio
Life Saving Award
On July 19th, 2021 Officer Pollio responded to Cayman Ave for a first aid call. Upon arrival, Officer Pollio observed Mr. Conti with a severely cut to his lower leg caused from a sawzall. Mr. Conti had cut an arterial artery in his leg and Officer Pollio was able to apply a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. The victim later advised he believed he would have bled out if it was not for Officer Pollio’s actions. Officer Pollio is to be commended for his lifesaving actions.
